Sebastian Wrong

The mission

The Danish company Hay was established in 2002 and very quickly became immensely popular. Their goal is to evoke a new, modern take on the ambiance of the 1950s and 1960s. Hay strives to create extremely practical designs that are based on a specific customer need. To achieve this, they like to experiment with different materials, such as textiles, wood, and paper. This formula quickly led Hay’s significantly increased popularity. Because of this, many living rooms now contain an attractive Hay design.

Hay Cloche

Their approach produced a variety of eye-catching collections in bright colours with a touch of the 1950s and 1960s. The appealing blend of retro and modern design creates a product with a timeless character. You will immediately notice the creative freedom that the designers were given in the collections. Each design is a marvellously unique eye-catcher in a home interior.

Young design talent

To bring about such a broad range of collections, Hay likes working with young, talented designers. Sebastian Wrong, Bertjan Pot, Johan Van Hengel, Lars Beller Fjetland, and Joel Hoff are but a few of the designers that contribute to the variety of Hay products.
