The term ‘monolith’ is mainly used for objects carved from one piece of stone. This lamp isn’t carved from stone, but we do understand the link. The column-like shaft, which hides the light sources and sturdy, decent materials which are used, form the base for the Absinthe Monolith’s name.
Just like most of the lamps from the Belgian brand, this Absinthe Monolith uses LED light sources. In this case two 1W LED lights give a cool white, up- and downwards light. The big advantages of LED are the low energy usage and the long life expectancy. These two aspects of LED can save you quite a lot of money in the long term.
The Absinthe Monolith is intended for the application of decorative accent lighting. The brushed aluminum finish adapts best to modern interiors. Especially when several Monoliths are used together, they give a very classy touch to the décor.
The Absinthe Monolith is a rather modest (88 x 138 x 90 mm) wall light for indoor usage. The power supply for the LED is embedded in the fixture. The light color of this lamp is 5000 Kelvin and the Lumen value is 116.
