The start of this lighting company takes us back to the year 1997. John Fearon and James Bassant, two British buddies, decided to chase their childhood dream, they founded Astro in the basement of a house in Sevenoaks. Their main motivation was their shared passion for British light design.
More than twenty years later, their tiny company has grown to be an international player on the lighting market, without betraying their philosophy. Their key to success has been the simplicity of their design. This vision has resulted in lighting with a sober, architectural design and optimal lighting performance.
Astro has developed into an international player in the field of bathroom lighting. The company offers a vast range of lighting that is bathroom-specific. According to Astro, the key to success is the well-balanced combination of a strong team of creative designers and the philosophy that the customer is king.

The design of the different fittings is utterly diverse. Most fittings are made from glass and metal, but the designs differ. A few popular fittings with a diverse look are Blanco, Borgo and Fuse.
