One of the most popular products from the Artemide product range is undoubtedly the Melampo. The recognisable design from the old days combined with excellent versatility makes this collection immensely timeless. When you consider the high quality, you know that it is a gem.
French designer Adrien Gardere designed this Melampo collection in 2000. He always wants to create a dialogue between innovation and comfort. And he has certainly succeeded with the Melampo. The obvious link with classic table lamps with lampshades gives the design a nice touch.
The Artemide Melampo is known for its utmost ease of use. The table lamp and floor lamp can assume three different positions: standard, slightly tilted or inverted with the diffuser on the column. The night lamp can assume two positions. Depending on the position, the Artemide Melampo provides diffuse, direct or indirect lighting. The wall lamp can be rotated horizontally.
The unique, high-quality finish in silk satin creates a dual aesthetic effect: the Melampo is grey aluminium when switched off and a white colour when switched on. The base is made of painted zinc alloy and the column of painted aluminium.
There’s something for everyone in this beautiful Artemide Melampo Collection. The table lamp, floor lamp and wall lamp is available in aluminium and bronze. Moreover, the floor lamp is an extra large size: Artemide Melampo Mega.
