The Italian brand Ares was established in 1994 by the natural evolution of an existing company specialised in exterior lighting. So, years of experience and knowledge related to exterior lighting was available to Ares, which it broadened with the addition of interior lighting. Today, Ares is well-known for its high-quality lighting and wide range of functionality.
In 2015, Ares initiated a collaboration with the renowned brand Flos. This allowed Flos to expand its product offering with a wide collection of exterior lighting. In addition, both brands were now able to share their knowledge and research processes. Both Flos and Ares share the idea that light is experienced as an emotion.
At Ares, design and technology go hand in hand. For example, we see this with the Ladina collection that can be best described as an enlarged light bulb. This playful lamp, as well as the Lamegadina wireless variant, has right become very popular. In contrast, the Rho collection is often used to light garden paths and driveways.
